						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> In the case of a testamentary trust for which there is no <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> for probate as provided in &#xA7; <a class="law" title="Jurisdiction for qualification of testamentary trustee; qualification and bond; when surety not required" href="/64.2-1401/">64.2-1401</a> and in the case of any trust under any deed or other writing, other than a <span class="dictionary">will</span>, the <span class="dictionary">trustee</span> may qualify in any <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> where the <span class="dictionary">trustee</span> resides, or if one <span class="dictionary">trustee</span> is a corporate <span class="dictionary">trustee</span>, then in the <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> where the corporate <span class="dictionary">trustee</span> has its registered office. <a id="paragraph-222872" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/64.2-1402/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
