						<section><p>After reasonable notice to a <span class="dictionary">trustee</span>, whether appointed by <span class="dictionary">will</span>, deed, or other writing, the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> that has <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> to administer the trust may, on <span class="dictionary">motion</span> of any interested person, <span class="dictionary">order</span> the <span class="dictionary">trustee</span> to give <span class="dictionary">bond</span> with <span class="dictionary">surety</span> before the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, or before the clerk of the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, within a reasonable time and in a <span class="dictionary">penalty</span> to be prescribed by the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, for the faithful execution of the trust if the <span class="dictionary">court</span> deems the <span class="dictionary">bond</span> is proper for the security of the trust estate. If the <span class="dictionary">order</span> is not complied with, or whenever for any cause it appears proper, the <span class="dictionary">court</span> may remove the <span class="dictionary">trustee</span> and appoint another in his place.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 6301; Code 1950, &#xA7; 26-1; 2012, c. 614.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
