						<section><p>Nothing in Article 2 (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Who liable for expenses; amount" href="/37.2-715/">37.2-715</a> et seq.) of Chapter 7 of Title 37.2 shall be construed to relieve the <span class="dictionary">fiduciary</span> of any <span class="dictionary">individual receiving services</span> in a state <span class="dictionary">facility</span> from paying to the state <span class="dictionary">facility</span> a sum for extra comforts or to make it unlawful for the <span class="dictionary">fiduciary</span> to make voluntary gifts that the <span class="dictionary">fiduciary</span> may deem conducive to the happiness and comfort of the individual.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 37-153; 1950, p. 924; 1968, c. 477, &#xA7; 37.1-146; 2005, c. 716, &#xA7; 37.2-1028; 2012, cc. 476, 507, 614.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
