						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> in which a report of the accounts of a decedent&#x2019;s <span class="dictionary">personal representative</span> and of the debts and demands against the decedent&#x2019;s estate is or may be filed may administer the real estate of the decedent in the <span class="dictionary">possession</span> of the decedent&#x2019;s <span class="dictionary">personal representative</span> that is an asset for the payment of the decedent&#x2019;s debts and demands against the decedent&#x2019;s estate, or any <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> may administer such real estate.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 64-172; 1968, c. 656, &#xA7; 64.1-182; 2012, c. 614.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
