						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">court</span> in which any <span class="dictionary">bond</span> given or taken by an officer is required to be returned, filed or recorded, may, on <span class="dictionary">motion</span> of any <span class="dictionary">person</span> protected by such <span class="dictionary">bond</span>, give <span class="dictionary">judgment</span> in favor of such <span class="dictionary">person</span> for such amount as he would be entitled by virtue of the <span class="dictionary">bond</span> to recover in an <span class="dictionary">action</span> at <span class="dictionary">law</span>. Any such <span class="dictionary">motion</span> shall be made after reasonable notice, not less than ten days, to the obligors on the <span class="dictionary">bond</span>.
