						<section><p>Any provider of services that have been tampered with or diverted in violation of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Tampering with metering device; diverting service; civil liability" href="/18.2-163/">18.2-163</a> may seek both injunctive and <span class="dictionary">equitable</span> relief, and an award of <span class="dictionary">damages</span>, including reasonable attorney fees and costs. In addition to any other remedy provided by <span class="dictionary">law</span>, the <span class="dictionary">party</span> aggrieved may recover an award of actual <span class="dictionary">damages</span> or $500 whichever is greater for each <span class="dictionary">action</span>.</p></section></text><history>2006, c. 350.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
