						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> If the suggestion of liability as provided in &#xA7; <a class="law" title="Institution of garnishment proceedings" href="/8.01-511/">8.01-511</a> is against the United States of America, the <span class="dictionary">summons</span> shall be served upon the managing employee of the agency of the federal government which is alleged to be liable, or, if the <span class="dictionary">judgment debtor</span> is a member of the armed forces of the United States, upon the chief fiscal officer of the military post to which the <span class="dictionary">judgment debtor</span> was last assigned. <a id="paragraph-256306" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/8.01-523/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
