						<section id="a"><p><span class="prefix-number">a.</span> Negotiation is effective even if obtained (i) from an infant, a corporation exceeding its powers, or a person without capacity, (ii) by <span class="dictionary">fraud</span>, duress, or mistake, or (iii) in breach of duty or as part of an illegal transaction. <a id="paragraph-294087" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/8.3A-202/#a"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
