COMPACT AND BOUNDARY WITH KENTUCKY (§ 1-307)

A. Except such part as may constitute the boundary line between West Virginia
and the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the boundary between this Commonwealth and the
Commonwealth of Kentucky, shall be and remain as the line approved on January
13, 1800, by an act of the General Assembly.

B. The articles set forth in the act of separation of the Commonwealth of
Kentucky from this Commonwealth adopted by the General Assembly on December 18,
1789, shall be and remain a solemn compact mutually binding on the Commonwealths
of Virginia and Kentucky, and unalterable by either without the consent of the
other.
