SENTENCE OF CONFINEMENT FOR CONVICTION OF A COMBINATION OF FELONY AND
MISDEMEANOR OFFENSES (§ 19.2-309)

When any person is convicted of a combination of felony and misdemeanor offenses
and sentenced to confinement therefor, in determining the sequence of
confinement, the felony sentence and commitment shall take precedence and such
person shall first be committed to serve the felony sentence.
