BUILDINGS NOT IN CONFORMANCE WITH STANDARDS FOR PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL
DISABILITIES (§ 2.2-1161)

The Division, upon a determination that a building or facility is not in
conformance with the applicable standards for persons with physical
disabilities, shall immediately take all necessary steps to ensure such building
or facility is in conformance within three months of the date of its
determination. The three-month period may be extended for an additional minimum
period of time required to obtain funding and complete construction, where the
Division determines an extension is necessary. This section shall apply only to
those state buildings or facilities designed, constructed or substantially
modified after July 1, 1977.
