AUTHORITY TO CREATE GUBERNATORIAL COMMISSIONS (§ 2.2-134)

A. The Governor may create gubernatorial commissions for purposes related to his
authority and responsibility. These entities shall be referred to as
&#8220;Commissions.&#8221;

B. For the purpose of this chapter, &#8220;gubernatorial commission&#8221;
includes any temporary study group, task force, blue ribbon panel or any similar
collegial body created by the Governor.
