DISPOSITION OF MONEYS AND PROPERTY RECEIVED (§ 2.2-2616)

All moneys received by the Council shall be paid into the state treasury and
segregated as a special fund to be used by the Council to carry out the purposes
of this article. All other property, tangible or intangible, which is acquired
by the Council shall become the property of the Commonwealth upon such
acquisition. Such other intangible property may be held in the name of a nominee
to facilitate its sale or exchange by the Council, and such other tangible
property may be sold or exchanged by the Council as agent for the Commonwealth
notwithstanding any other provision of law concerning the sale or exchange of
property of the Commonwealth.
