DISPLAY OF THE POW/MIA FLAG (§ 2.2-3310.1)

It is the sense of the General Assembly that members of the armed forces of the
United States who are or were prisoners of war or reported missing in action
should be honored and remembered for their service and sacrifice. In observance
of that service and sacrifice, all agencies and institutions of the Commonwealth
shall display the POW/MIA flag on public buildings on the following days each
year:
		Armed Forces Day &#8212; the third Saturday in May.
		Memorial Day &#8212; the last Monday in May.
		Flag Day &#8212; June 14.
		Independence Day &#8212; July 4.
		National POW/MIA Recognition Day &#8212; the third Friday in September.
		Veterans Day &#8212; November 11.
