PUREBRED LIVESTOCK RAISED BY STATE INSTITUTIONS AND AGENCIES MAY BE SOLD INSTEAD
OF SLAUGHTERED (§ 2.2-614)

The person in charge of any state institution or agency that raises purebred
livestock may, when any of the livestock are to be slaughtered, sell the same to
any person desiring to acquire the livestock for breeding purposes, provided the
interests of the institution or agency will not be adversely affected by the
sale.
