DECREE OF DIVORCE FROM BONDS OF MATRIMONY WITHOUT DECREE FROM BED AND BOARD (§
20-121.01)

In any case where willful desertion or cruelty is the ground for divorce and the
bill of complaint prays for a divorce from bed and board the court may enter a
decree of divorce from the bonds of matrimony without the entry of a decree from
bed and board if the statutory period, as set out in § 20-121, has elapsed
prior to the entry of said decree and if the court shall be of the opinion that
no reconciliation has taken place, or is probable.
