POWER OF COUNTIES, CITIES, AND TOWNS TO APPROPRIATE AND EXPEND FUNDS FOR
EDUCATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES (§ 22.1-220)

The governing body of any county, city or town is hereby authorized and
empowered to appropriate and expend funds of the county, city or town in
furtherance of the education of children with disabilities residing in such
county, city or town who attend Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center or
public or private nonsectarian schools, or public or private nonsectarian
child-day programs for children below the compulsory school attendance age,
whether within or without the county, city or town and whether within or without
the Commonwealth.
