BOARDS OF VISITORS; BACCALAUREATE PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION;
PROPERTY OF PREDECESSOR INSTITUTIONS (§ 23.1-1310)

All real estate and personal property standing in the name of any predecessor
institution of a baccalaureate public institution of higher education shall be
transferred to, known and taken as standing in the name of, and controlled by
the board of visitors of such public institution of higher education. All such
real estate and personal property is the property of the Commonwealth.
