TRANSFER OF CONTROL, ETC., OF LANDINGS, DOCKS, AND WHARVES TO DEPARTMENT OF
WILDLIFE RESOURCES (§ 33.2-329)

A. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Board may transfer the
control, possession, supervision, management, and jurisdiction of landings,
wharves, and docks in the secondary state highway system to the Department of
Wildlife Resources, at the request or with the concurrence of the Department of
Wildlife Resources. Such transfer may be by lease, agreement, or otherwise,
approved by resolution of the Board, and signed by the Commissioner of Highways
or his designee, for such period and upon such terms and conditions as the Board
may direct.

B. All such transfers effected prior to July 1, 1980, by lease, agreement, or
otherwise, from the Department to the Department of Wildlife Resources and all
regulations of the Department of Wildlife Resources controlling the use of such
facilities shall be and are hereby declared valid in every respect.
