ALL FEES, CHARGES, ETC., TO BE STATED IN POLICY (§ 38.2-310)

A. All fees, charges, premiums or other consideration charged for the insurance
or for the procurement of insurance shall be stated in the policy except in the
case of fidelity, surety, title, and group insurance, and except for consulting
services as provided in Article 4 (&#xA7; 38.2-1837 et seq.) of Chapter 18 of
this title. Except as provided in this subsection, no person shall charge or
receive any fee, compensation, or consideration for insurance or for the
procurement of insurance that is not included in the premium or stated in the
policy.

B. Service charges for installment payments of insurance premiums do not need to
be stated in the policy if the charges are provided to the insured in writing.
