TIME LIMIT ON CERTAIN DEFENSES (§ 38.2-3911)

Every insurance policy or contract shall contain a provision that after two
years from the effective date of the policy or contract, only fraudulent
misstatements in the application may be used to void the policy or contract or
deny any claim for a loss incurred or a disability that starts after the
two-year period. This provision may be omitted if the incontestable clause
referred to in § 38.2-3912 is included.
