 SPECIAL SAFETY RULES (§ 45.2-503)

The operator of each mine has the right to adopt special safety rules for the
safety and operation of his mine, covering the work pertaining to the mine
inside and outside of such mine. Such special safety rules shall not be in
conflict with the provisions of the Act and, when established, shall be posted
at some conspicuous place about the mine where the rules may be seen by all
miners at such mine or in lieu thereof shall be furnished by the operator as a
printed copy to each of the miners.
