 MAKING FALSE STATEMENTS; PENALTY (§ 45.2-544)

A. It is unlawful for any person charged with the making of maps or other data
to be furnished as provided in the Act to fail to correctly show, within the
limits of error, the data required.

B. Any person who knowingly makes any false statement, representation, or
certification in any application, record, report, plan, or other document filed
or required to be maintained under the Act is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
