HOW BONDS GIVEN IN CIVIL SUITS MADE PAYABLE (§ 49-20)

Any bond required by law to be given upon an injunction, appeal, writ of error,
supersedeas or other proceeding in a civil suit may be payable to the party
entitled to the benefit thereof, notwithstanding anything contained in § 49-12.
