APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL POLICE OFFICERS (§ 52-6)

The Superintendent of State Police, with the approval of the Governor, shall
have authority to appoint additional police officers, who may or may not be
residents of this Commonwealth, to serve for specified periods of time. The
police officers so appointed shall receive such compensation as the
Superintendent shall approve. Such police officers shall have the same powers
and perform the same duties as the regular police officers appointed by the
Superintendent.
