COMMISSION&#8217;S EXAMINATION OF ALL TRANSPORTATION COMPANIES, ETC (§ 56-128)

The Commission may examine all the railroads and other transportation companies,
and the works and equipment thereof so that it may keep itself informed as to
their physical condition, the manner in which they are operating with reference
to the security and accommodation of the public, and whether they are in
compliance with the provisions of their charters and the laws of the
Commonwealth. The provisions of this section shall apply to all railroads and
other transportation companies, and to the corporations, trustees, receivers, or
other person owning or operating the same.
