ENFORCEMENT; PENALTIES (§ 59.1-207.49)

Any violation of this chapter shall constitute a prohibited practice under the
provisions of § 59.1-200 and shall be subject to the enforcement provisions of
the Virginia Consumer Protection Act (§ 59.1-196 et seq.). However, if a
supplier makes a good faith effort to comply with the requirements of this
chapter, the supplier shall not be subject to either a civil penalty under §
59.1-206 or damages under § 59.1-204.
