EMPLOYEE DEBTOR RIGHTS PROTECTED; LIMITATION (§ 63.2-1944)

No employer shall discharge an employee or terminate a contract with an
independent contractor solely for reason that a voluntary assignment of earnings
under § 63.2-1945 has been presented in settlement of a support debt or that a
support lien or order to withhold and deliver has been served against such
employee&#8217;s or independent contractor&#8217;s earnings or income.
