MEETINGS; ORGANIZATION; CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN; SECRETARY (§ 63.2-312)

The governing body or bodies shall immediately notify the members of the local
board of their appointment, and such members shall, within fifteen days after
their notification, elect a chairman and vice-chairman from among their number.
The local board shall meet at least bimonthly and on other occasions on call of
the chairman or in pursuance of action by the local board. At least one such
meeting a year shall be an orientation and training session for local board
members. The local director shall act as secretary of his local board and shall
keep on file minutes of the attendance and transactions at all meetings of the
local board.
