DENIAL OF BENEFITS UPON FINDING OF FRAUDULENT ACTS (§ 63.2-524)

Any individual applying for or receiving benefits under the federal Food Stamp
program or the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program may be denied
such benefits in accordance with federal law if such person is found by a court
or pursuant to an administrative hearing to have intentionally (i) made a false
or misleading statement or misrepresented, concealed or withheld facts, or (ii)
committed any act intended to mislead, misrepresent, conceal or withhold facts
or propound a falsity, for the purpose of establishing or maintaining
eligibility for such benefits.
		The Board is authorized to adopt regulations governing conduct of
administrative hearings and denial of benefits authorized by this section.
