§ 24.2-666 Procedures to account for paper ballots

The State Board shall prescribe appropriate forms and procedures for use by the local electoral boards, general registrars, and officers of election to account for all paper ballots, used and unused.

History

This law was first created in 1988. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapters 291 and 318 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1988 “Acts” aren’t available online. It has been modified 1 time. Those modifications are cataloged by “The Acts of Assembly,” a state publication, by year and chapter. Those modifications that can be read on the General Assembly’s website will be linked accordingly. That modification is as follows: in 1993, chapter 641.

1988, cc. 291, 318, § 24.1-143.1; 1993, c. 641.
