§ 30-447 Commission on Women’s Health; purpose

The Commission on Women’s Health (the Commission) is established as a commission in the legislative branch of state government. The purpose of the Commission is to study, report, and make recommendations on issues related to women’s health, including maternal health.

History

This law was first created in 2025. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapters 572 and 580 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year.
