§ 32.1-223 New and sanitized items to be kept separate
New and sanitized upholstered furniture, bedding and filling materials shall be kept separate from any secondhand upholstered furniture, bedding and filling materials that have not been sanitized.
History
This law was first created in 1979. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 711 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1979 “Acts” aren’t available online.
