§ 58.1-510 Purpose

The purpose of this act is to supplement existing land conservation programs to further encourage the preservation and sustainability of Virginia’s unique natural resources, wildlife habitats, open spaces and forested resources.

History

This law was first created in 1999. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapters 968 and 983 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year.
