§ 28.2-225 Fishing license required; penalty
It shall be unlawful to fish in the tidal waters of the Commonwealth or those waters under the joint jurisdiction of the Commonwealth without first obtaining the required license, subject to the exemptions set out in § 28.2-226. Any person who violates this section is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
