§ 30-59.1 State agency defined

For the purposes of §§ 30-58.1 and 30-59, the terms “state agency,” “state agencies,” “agency,” and “agencies” shall mean all executive, judicial, and legislative entities of the Commonwealth as well as all constitutionally or statutorily created state entities.

History

This law was first created in 1979. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 731 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1979 “Acts” aren’t available online.

1979, c. 731.
