§ 32.1-348 Applicability of chapter

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as relieving any hospital of its obligations under the Hill-Burton Act or any other similar federal or state law or agreement to provide unreimbursed care to indigent persons.

History

This law was first created in 1989. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapters 657 and 746 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1989 “Acts” aren’t available online.

1989, cc. 657, 746.
