§ 38.2-1427.1 Limited partnerships
A domestic insurer may become a limited partner in a partnership organized and governed under the laws of the United States or any state for the purpose of making or participating in investments otherwise permissible for domestic insurers under the provisions of this chapter.
History
This law was first created in 1992. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 588 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1992 “Acts” aren’t available online.
