§ 56-257.1 Means of locating nonmetallic underground conduits
Any plastic or other nonmetallic pressurized conduit installed underground on and after July 1, 1976, shall have affixed thereto a wire conductive of electricity or some other means of locating the conduit while it is underground.
History
This law was first created in 1976. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 556 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1976 “Acts” aren’t available online.
