§ 8.01-465.1 Application of chapter
As used in this chapter “foreign judgment” means any judgment, decree, or order of a court of the United States or of any other court which is entitled to full faith and credit in this state.
History
This law was first created in 1988. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 539 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1988 “Acts” aren’t available online.
