§ 2.2-235 Policy regarding environmental justice

It is the policy of the Commonwealth to promote environmental justice and ensure that it is carried out throughout the Commonwealth, with a focus on environmental justice communities and fenceline communities.

History

This law was first created in 2020. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapters 1212 and 1257 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year.
