§ 2.2-2470 Definitions
As used in this article: “Local workforce development board” means a local workforce development board established under § 107 of the WIOA. “One stop” means a conceptual approach to service delivery intended to provide a single point of access for receiving a wide range of workforce development and employment services, either on-site or electronically, through a single system. “One-stop center” means a physical site where employment and career services are provided, either on site or electronically, and access to career services, training services, and other partner program services are available for employers, employees, and job seekers. “One-stop operator” means a single entity or consortium of entities that operate a one-stop center or centers. Operators may be public or private entities competitively selected by a local workforce board. “WIOA” means the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (P.L. 113-128).
