§ 3.2-2402 Production areas designated
A. The following production areas of flue-cured tobacco are designated for the purposes of this chapter: Area I: Franklin, Henry, Patrick, and Pittsylvania Counties; Area II: Appomattox, Campbell, Charlotte, Halifax, and Prince Edward Counties; Area III: Mecklenburg County; Area IV: Brunswick and Greensville Counties; and Area V: Amelia, Dinwiddie, Lunenburg, Prince George, Nottoway, and Sussex Counties.
B. If the production of flue-cured tobacco occurs in any locality that is not part of a production area as designated in subsection A, such locality shall be part of an adjacent production area. If there are two or more adjacent production areas, such locality shall be part of that production area that had the lowest flue-cured tobacco production in the most recent calendar year according to the records of the Department.
